Witnessing You can witness through relationships with family and friends or by talking to strangers and giving tracts or the Gospel. Your testimony before others will either help or hinder your witness for Christ! SIN ROMANS 3:23,10; ISAIAH 64:6 A person must first see their need for salvation before they will listen to the Gospel with their heart or before they will obey the Holy Spirits wooing. OUR WORKS DONT HELP Ephesians 2:8,9 Titus 3:5; Isaiah 64:6 We can't depend on our own righteousness because that is how sin can into existence in the first place. We can't be like God and save ourselves but we must surrender to Him for our salvation. If you think about it every time you do something bad the Holy Spirit says don't depend on yourself but depend on me. OUR SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD Romans 6:23 Any one sin will separate you from God. Death is separation from the natural body and spiritual death is separation from God for all eternity. GOD GAVE THE GIFT OF SALVATION Romans 5:8; 3:24-26; I John 2:2, 4:10; John 3:16; Hebrew 9:22 God the Father sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. You see God had to die for our sins because only He is the only sinless sacrifice. Jesus took the punishment and wrath of God for our sins, because He first loved us and He thought that a relationship with us was worth dying for!!! ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS ACCEPT THE GIFT I John 1:9; Romans 10:9-10, 13 I have to realize that Jesus was the only way for me to have that relationship with God (John 14:6) I have to confess that I am a sinner and that I believe that He is the only way of salvation. God is a jealous God and He desires that all should spend eternity with Him (2 Peter 3:9). He is jealous in that He doesn't want Satan to trick anyone to go to Hell.
